Am I right in saying that all the washer pumps on the p38 are the same so it doesn't matter if it says "rear" or "headlight" etc, they are entirely interchangeable?

What's wrong with your old one's ?:)

Well, 2 aren't working (rear and headlamp). Could be a wiring issue, granted, but I like keeping spares for things anyway so if I order it and it's because the pump has died, bonus. If not and it's a wiring issue then at least I have a spare :)

Is the washer bottle full ? headlamp pump won't work if the level is low. Also needs headlights on, will work on first wash/wipe operation then every alternate one. :)

Now see... all I want to do is click on Buy it Now.

The problem is I'm already running out of space for spares and if she rocks up after work and finds another shelf taken with "whatthe####isthat" stuff, my bollocks will be forcibly removed from my person.

Also, yes, checked the fluid is right at the top and also the lights being on :p It's more the rear I'm concerned about at the moment. Can only hear a pump going when I use the windscreen washers, nothing for the headlights or the rear.

At that price you can take the pumps and level sender out and bin the rest.:)

The motors all appear the same size but the spigots are different sizes, where the rubber tubing connects. I frigged mine to fit and does the job nicely. I had some tubing left from repairing my cruise control vacuum, which fitted over the original tubing. Be careful removing the old tubing as the spigots just love to snap off real easy. Cut the tubing off with a sharp knife instead of pulling it off. Learnt that the hard way.
