hi all

am thinking of getting a rr p38
i like the look of the p38 better than the classic
but i have heard horror stories of the reliability of them
some say they are ok and other people i have spoken to say they breakdown every lamp post
im after a manual diesel one
probably on around an "s" plate or there abouts

what do you fink

if you want an ultra reliable vehicle, dont buy a landy, full stop. get a lovely plastic jap car instead.

i wouldnt swap my rangie for anything (except for another rangie) ;)

thanks
i understand that they are somewhat unreliable however what i was after was some kind of idea as to what extent the likely reliability was
if its gonna breakdown now and again if not looked after then its understandable
but if no matter what you do you cant trust it to get back home
that is another kettle of fish...
any idea gents???

I have an S reg with all the goodies (see my sign off) and I have done 10k in 5 months and nothing (touch wood) has gone majorly wrong, my air suspension was overhauled before I bought it and works seamlessly. At some stage I need a new bearing on one wheel and a re-gas on the aircon, otherwise it is mint.

MAY ALSO BE FOR SALE DUE TO COMPANY CAR IN THE NEXT MONTH OR SO. WILL BE GETTING A RRSport TD6 LUCKY ME!!

PM me if you are interested. Looking for c.£8,400
