This is not your normal p38 steering woundering prob.

I've just changed my steering box as it was leaking badly after offroading at peterbough, but now its really tight one way, and doesn't straighted up after going round a corner, I know the steering box was a good one but has been sat for 10 months, do you think i could of bugged my UJ up when knocked it on.

Hoping to use it for holiday next week, but won't be unless I can sort it.

If it is tight one way the shuttle valve maybe sticking. This opens and closes to either balance pressure on either end of piston or apply more in the direction of movement. Try lifting front and exercising the box several times fully in each direction. Make sure box is centralised see RAVE for instructions.

I think its been getting slightly better today or i'm getting used to it, anyway I changed the lower UJ on to the steering box, and it feels a lot lot better maybe not perfect but I i'm paying more attention to the steering.

Anyway i'll try the lock to lock thing tomorrow and go from there, Thanks for ya advice.
