Hi,
The fitted SAT Nav in my P38 is an elderly Alpine system.
Ever since the battery went completely flat (an issue since fixed) the in dash screen display has forgotten how to work with the Alpine system and keeps cycling round various "inputs" looking for a source and sometimes displays a blue screen with "select tab" message.

Anyone know how to reset the screen to know it's input is meant to be that sat-nav system?

Regards,

Dan.

Not sure if a totally flat battery can cause this, however... If you remove power from said sat-Nav unit before it's finished it's 'shut down' procedure, you will bugger it... And I believe permanently. Others have noted something similar.

You can try resetting it by physically removing it and disconnecting the power, leave it for a few mins, then reconnect. See if that works for you.
