Hi All,
Just brought my first Range Rover and love it to bits - 4ltr SE 99.
Up until 2 days ago all electrics were working fine but suddenly the rear wiper does not want to play!!
The squirters still work, the fuse is ok (and the interior lights still work which I think are on the same circuit) and all others operations work from the control arm.
Can someone point me in the directions on any connecting joints in the wiring that I should check first and point out where they are?
Thanks
Dan

First things first, congrats on your new Range Rover :)

Secondly, if you plan on doing your own work on your car get hold of a copy of RAVE - see RangeRovers.net :: View topic - RAVE Download - comes with free beer!

In reply to your problem, I would open up the rear tailgate and remove the 6 screws that hold the wiper motor cover on (its like a black plastic thing that is on the inside of the tailgate at the top).

Once that is removed I would disconnect the wiper motor multi plug and hook up a volatge tester and measure the voltage to the motor when you get a friend to activate the wiper in the front.

I would guess the voltage is fine and that the motor has probably failed.

Let us know what you find :)
