Manual problems

Hi All,

I replaced the clutch and DMF in my DSE this week, All seems to be well although the car is now being a bitch and seems very tight when going between gears whilst on the move.

It almost feels like the clutch is still in contact by a nats knacker.

Clutch and flywheel are luk(DMF) & Valeo clutch.

Any Ideas?

is it bled up properly? how high does the clutch bite on the peddal? if it near the floor that would suggest air in the system and would give you your nats knacker issue.

would the wrong oil in the box cause this?

i suppose it could but you would have to put ep oil in to cause enough drag, mtf 94 is the proper oil to use.

well I had put geartex 85/90 into it and now got dexron2 and seems better according to the wife
