l322 steering lock???

ive got a 53 4.4 vogue l322,the steering lock wont come off when key is inserted any ideas ?

Dead Battery, or broken immobiliser chip in key

As soon as you insert key into ignition barrel, you should hear the steering lock pin retract electronically. Have you tried using your spare key?

hi thanks it turned out the battery is not fully charged due to heater blower running constant (stuck on) cheers will
