Left my RR parked up for a month and had to jump start it this morning:mad:.I was waiting for all the warning messages to flash up but none came:) however my heater blower is now constantley blowing. ive had the cheque book sign on for the past few months now and cold air on the passanger side.
I can turn the blower down so all the green markers go down but still have the blower on.
I have tried changing the blower direction and turned auto on and off,air con on and off but no joy.
Have i done something wrong when i jump started it,all was done as the book states.
Or am i just going to have to face facts and get the little book symbol sorted first:confused:.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ultimately the book symbol will have to be put off. By the sound of it you have a blender motor either gone west or it needs re-calibrated. The fan should switch off if the AC is off i.e. orange light on and you keep turning the big dial to the left. All the green lcds at the top of the panel should go off as you do this. Otherwise there is another problem that unfortunately only a plug in to Testbook will tell.

Wow that was a quick reply thanks very much.

I thought i would have to take it in at some point. Managed to sort most things out myself so far.

If i was to change the HEVAC unit would this still show that i had a blend motor problem or would the new one re-calibrate the motors when fitted?

I have worked out how to get to the blend motors from info on this site but even if i did change them would i still need to get them calibrated?

Sorry for all the questions, im sure at some point i will be able offer someone some help or advice in the art of running a Range Rover:eek:

If the blend motors are replaced they need to be calibrated.
If a "Hard" fault (Failure) exists, replacing the HEVAC will not "Fix" it..the faulty component has to be replaced.
Bit like having a broken window and putting up a new set of curtains..the window is still broken !!!

:behindsofa:

Irishrover thanks.
Oh well time to spend some cash thought it was to good to be true had almost lasted 12 months without spending money on it:(
