Engine light flashed and no coolant and leaking oil!

Hello.
On motorway and the 4.4 L322 started shaking as I tried to go over 50. Engine light flashing. Pulled codes and got random/multiple cylinder misfire and something about vanos. When I got onto services after 4 miles. It said check coolant level ( I topped up 1 hour before problem ). Realised a hose of header tank blew off and the clamp was missing.

Got it towed and while putting on recovery truck, i saw a lot of engine oil leaked onto floor. Leaking around sump but not sure as it's covered. The car did not overheat. Temp gauge stayed half way!

Today got new clamp and filled with coolant and engine oil was half way on dipstick so didn't top it up. Seems fine. No oil leaks anymore and no coolant leaking. No misfiring and no overheating. No engine lights.

Why would it do this to me?

When you say half way up the dipstick, do you mean half way between the min and max markers or half way up the entire stick?

Halfway between the min and max.

PCV Valve failure???

Can cause massive over pressure in the crankcase and blow oil out!
