Hey guys I see Britpart is giving a 24 month guarantee and a loyds assurance on all thier parts so this should be good news (they must have really improved thier kit), just seen the ad in offroader and the new general at's look the dogs bo**ocks.

I bought a steering box from Paddocks...

Fitted it fine, then leaked! They sent another out no probs at all but what a bloody farce having to do it twice!

I don't like the look and quality of there parts but I must admit it has always done it's job , but never brought anything from them that is under stress

Don't think there is a parts supplier on the planet that does that.

Rumour has it, that the buying bloke that used to work for ****part is now workin' fur Allfakes! Don't know if it's true or not, but me local indy is now trying to get me Bearmuck parts as they know how much I hate the ****part stuff

Slob and myself have tried to get britpart to come on here and nothing.
Not even an email, so the opinion is they don't give a ****.

Also until we have a history of new warranties being honored- previous behavior has been to ignore or deny issues.

****part gives me nightmares......

Ha Ha ok guys, sounds pretty unanimous, looks like they have a lot to prove to get trust back and I must say it does sound like they have ****ed of a lot of people, but the new general at's still look the dogs.

thats bollocks about allmakes, I really liked there stuff and there prices!! can anyone find out if thats true?

****parts suck and never again. a little story for you:

I ordered a disc and pad kit for the 72 from padwanks as they are so cheap and knew what I needed. I rang em to check the un-named rear discs wernt going to be ****part. "no sir they are a no name manuafcture and we have had no problems or returns on them" so as they were only for the back axel I got them and paid silly money for lockheed fronts just to be safe.

when the rear set came, guess waht bloody britpart discs FFS!!

If padwanks have to lie about what make stuff is to get people to buy britaprt is says it all. :doh:

so what is peoples opinion on Bearmuck stuff, or should i not ask, just bought some of there stuff but not fitted yet.

As ah said, it was only a rumour and don't know how true it is.
When ye said ye "liked" allfakes stuff, does that mean ye've moved on?
Ah used allfakes stuff after the crap ah had wi' ****part, but ah reckon they're comin' a close contender with some of their newer made parts ( nothing to do with the Terrafirma stuff). It might have something to do with most stuff bein' made in China now.
Ah got me furst bearmuck part today (fuel stop solenoid) and ah was really happy to see it was made in Germany
