I have recently noticed that if I brake the pedal has some resistance & slows the vehicle (As it should) ...But.... the pedal then "Moves" with a Click i.e. it goes further down by maybe 1/4 inch & I get much more "Braking Power"

Thoughts?????????????????????? ...... Got me stumped!!!!

Go and look at the rangerovers.net site, that click could well be the sign of impending total brake failure. Lots of reports about it in the USA:eek::eek::eek:

yep wot data sed^^^^

THANKS Datatec & Goonarmy for the heads up I've read thru all the info on Rangie, net & I'm pretty sure that IS NOT what I'm looking at here... the "Click" in "Internal" i.e. I can "Feel/hear" it INSIDE the cabin.

Its hard to explain ..... sorta like a "Miss" on a rachet.....think its time to get out the old Bathroom mirror & have a shuftie up behind them pedals!!!
