ABS questions, what is normal?

Hi, I have a 90 vogue and have a few queries about the abs system. It has a light on the dash which using the blink method gave 2-8 no voltage to abs solenoid valves faulty valve relay or wiring. Does anyone know where I can find this relay?
Also, what is normal in terms of the pump kicking in? Mine comes on for 45 to 60 secs on startup then kicks in for 3 or 4 secs on every third pump of the pedal. Is this normal?
Its weird as the abs light doesnt always come on but 95% of the time. I tried to clear the blink code but it was there again when I reread the codes after? Seems a complex system! Any help would be great

Apologies I found the fuse and relay and have ordered replacements.

Does anyone know if my pump operation is normal? I guess I should fix the fault code first eh!

Fixed the light, bad relay contact on side of passenger seat.

So does anyone have any experience of how often the pump should kick in?

About every 5th brake application on a P38, no idea on a Classic.

Pretty much the same system...so every 4-5 applications...

Note, you will be best off to replace the Pump relay - they have a tendancy to stick on and burn out the pump motor rendering you totally brakeless....How do I know - cos it happened to my '93

Thanks chaps, relay is on order at £3 from paddocks.

Its now kicking in every 4 or so pumps so I'm happy its normal !

Now to the rust, rust, rust................:lalala:
