160k td6!!!

Looking at an 05 facelift vogue td6 with 160k miles 2 owners and full history. Am I mad!!!!!!. It looks really well looked after and really clean hardly any wear for the miles and is up for £9500.

Thoughts??

Just wanted to add I'm not an idiot lol and know about all the problems with the l322, was more concentrating on the miles, would it be better to go for a low miles tatty car or a high miller that's had no expense spared?

High miles don't mean anything

Would rather have a high motorway miler than a low miler that's spent its life in traffic in town !

My td6 is on 158k now and still going strong

Seen some with 200k+ miles

Your talking another 5 to 6k for one of those, and maybe another 4k for the turbos when they fail!! Lol that's my budget again! Need to leave summat in the pot for problems lol. I've looked at some with 90k on the clock that are really worn, espesh inside. This looks really clean, just a lot of miles, I know the gearboxes are weak but have heard the engines are strong with regular maint

Mine was a high miler
Engine and gearbox has been great

Yours has probably had a new gearbox recently anyway

Id get an earlier one
A lot cheaper and no difference in the car
Unless you want the facelift

I just done a 2012 facelift to mine
Dream car now

If you like it get it but it wants to had a new gearbox for that.

I paid well over the going rate for mine but it is a mint car with no dents and FLRSH i liked it so I got it
