I was brousing the vosa web site last night, and looked at the recall section, and in there was about Freelander 2005 the wrong nut being put in the chassie for the sub frame has anybody heard of thei before.
 
Not so much the wrong nut, but one that shears off. Look in the FAQ section. Lots of info about it in there as well as hiw to check and fix it.
 
Sorry mad hat man it will teach me to do a search,but if I had have heard about this a few years ago it would have saved me from prolems and my old one now was a 2001 new one 2006td4 auto hse
