Just trying to sort out wiring on the 109......PO (or maybe LR originaly and the PO when it was converted to alternator) has spliced parts of an S3 loom on top of the original cloth covered 2A harness. Needless to say, it's a mess. :doh:
1971, 2A, diesel.
The wiper motor has 3 wires on view, yellow, pink and blue. There is a Lucas 5 way connector on top.
Circuit diagram shows 3 wires connected, but only two have been wired in, a +ve feed (solid green) and a switched +ve (red and green stripe)
Does the 3 wires mean it's a TWO speed unit?
What type of switch to use if all 3 wires are to be used?
i.e. for 1st speed, is it +ve feed and switched +ve on another
and for 2nd speed, is it +ve feed and switched +ve on both? or +ve feed and switched +ve on the other (brown and green stripe)?
