Hello, I am currently modifying my 2012 Freelander for response work with the ambulance service and would be grateful for any advice re: wiring a highb beamheadlight flasher.

I am using a high bean flasher (https://responsevehiclelighting.co....shing-unit-headlight-flasher-wig-wag-12v.html) with outputs for ground, live, right out, left out and high beam override.

I am happy with splicing the relevant wires in but would be grateful if anyone can tell me how I can identify the high beam control wire for the override (ideally in the engine bay) and advise whether the unit will work as expected? I'm a novice when it comes to wiring and have seen mention of issues with relays which give a constant feed to both headlights etc and CANBUS issues when flashers are used with other types of vehicle.

Thanks in advance.
