The water leak I am trying to fix now in my defender is in the rear corner it’s directly around the angled panel inside which houses the fuel cap, the lights are dry and it’s not coming from there which seems the logical place, also it seems to be leaking around that angled panel, if anyone has an idea where to look I would be grateful.
The water appears when the vehicle is standing too.

Often the leak there is the capping either on the tub or the roof itself. It will pool in that rear corner and dribble down.
The rear quarter light seal sometimes leaks too.
The tell-tale sign is the steel washer and bolt, that hold the side panel on, are rusty.

I wondered if it could be from the capping, 3 or 4 years ago it was refurbed and the leak started then, I have some captain tolleys will give it a go.
