Turning fog lights into DRLs is it possible?

Hi all I've bought some H11 canbus LED bulbs for my fog lights. Is it possible to reprogramme the system so that the fog lights come on with the ignition so I can use them as Daytime Running Lights it's a Freelander 2 cheers in advance Bubz

yes disconnect the fogs fit the Leds and fit a switch on the Dash.

there you go.....or get them on a permanent switched live and they'll be on all the time...not sure how you'd g on at mot time tho unless you disable them before you take it in?

cant really see that looking good at all personally. bad enough all the chavs with fogs on all the time, it suits Audi's but on a FL2 no. Plus the new MOT stuff, and reprogramme?? surely its just a switch? never had a FL2

You shouldn't drive round with fogs light on when there int no fog.

Make sure you don't get pulled by a knowledgeable traffic cop. There are different lenses on driving lights and fog lights. Having fog lights on when visibility doesn't require them is an offense.

They should be shot. Simple fix. And the fogs switched off too.
