Is it possible to fit tow bar without having to remove the bumper? I'm disabled so everything takes time and effort! Was quoted £200 plus just to remove the bumper! Its a used Original Freelander tow bar and has the plug on the end to plug in. Upgraded relay arriving today . I'm a Newbie so any advice or workaround much appreciated.

No need to remove the rear bumper, as the tow bar hangs below the bumper. It helps with space to drop the exhaust off its hangers, but not even that is necessary.

I gave up in the end ! I removed the bumper easily . But trying to get the bolt holes to line up each side was a nightmare . So anyone wanna buy a genuine Freelander towbar?

They can be a challenge if it's an aftermarket tow bar. I've resorted to using a trolley jack and large pry bar to get the bolts to line up properly.
Genuine bars fit straight on though.

Where are you located, and how much ? My son might be interested.
