Hi folks - my G/F has just purchased a Freelander TD4 which so far appears quite good and just what she wanted. The only thing with it is the drivers seat has some cuts/tears in it on the bolsters on the r/h side (nearest the door).
Having just tried to look for another seat on ebay I found a complete interior but that drivers seat also had the same problem.
Is this a general thing ? Maybe it belonged to a large person (fat) ?

Thanks,

Simon

Thank you !!.

No photos but I'll try and get some shortly.

It would definately need at least two sections replaced maybe 3.

There's a plastic trim around the fabric that holds it tight to the seat . If you lift them and peel back the fabric you can sew it up nicely from the underside .I did mine the morning of the NCT(Irish MOT) . It was a good 5 inch tear that was getting very raggedy over a good 6 months to a year .

OOhh - good stuff :5bhurray:

I'll give that a go whilst we're away on holiday next week - she'll be delighted !!
