Throttle cable replacement P38

I've visited 3 garages today to try and get a price for supply and fitting of a new throttle cable on my 2000 P38. All had the same response, pursed lips, intake of breath and a shake of the head. At least one of them told the truth and said he didn't need the job and basically couldn't be arsed.
So where does that leave me? Any recommended suppliers for the cable, and if so, how much of a task is it? I'm sure it can't be that bad, I've disconnected the cable from the throttle body plenty of times so all I need to is disconnect the foot pedal end and re route the new cable. Right?

Yes, quite a big price difference on the cheapest, £12.50 and the dearest, £127. Anybody tried these? Also, they mention all LHD models, got to fit RHD as well?
