My Defender TD5 has stopped working. Running great one day and stopped the next.
The engine turns over fine.
The fuel pump wasn't running due to the fuel pump relay not energising from the ECU.
The pump and relay work and all connections are fine.
I replaced the crank position sensor and checked all connections.
My nanocom indicated the ECU and AS10 was immobilised.
Changing the settings using the nanocom the ECU is mobilised and the light has gone out on the dash and the light is off in the speedo. The AS10 is showing immobilised.
But the setting are constantly changing and I cannot set the injector codes for example.
The faults logged on the nanocom are 'Ambient air circuit' and 'turbo wastegate' etc. but can these faults stop the ECU.
Any ideas
regards

I haven't got a TD5, so that doesn't explain my hair loss :( ;)
Sorry, amigo.
I wonder if you could try another AS10 unit?

Sounds like the AS10 has gone tits up. I think there is an option on the Nanocom to disable the AS10 but without looking I can not be sure.
Injector codes and the logged faults will not stop the engine from cranking or running.

I have managed to get the car working now. the ECU was faulty and not sending the security codes. Had it repaired and it works correctly
