Hi again, before I start, I would like to say I appreciate all the help the people on this forum have given me previously.
Here we go, excuse me for the long winded rambling.
We live in rural Spain and a few years ago, on a family visit to the UK, an extraordinary hail storm made a mess of my 2004 TD4.
This time, a friend suggested we leave the car in his barn.
On our return, rats had been having a party in the car, ****e and **** everywhere!
It started and ran very well but the three amigos were on, and the brake pedal was very firm.
A quick inspection and a day with the vacuum revealed, I hope, the only damage was a chewed vacuum pipe and a couple of holes in the carpet under the passenger seat. Fortunately, the rats had enough to eat outside the car, otherwise I think the car would be a shell!
I don't have any spare pipe, I'll order some tonight but a quick repair with tape has restored the brakes, but the 3 amigos continue on the dash.
Will a code read and a delete sort that?
Don't have one of them either but that's also on the list!!
