Hi looking to fit a timer to my fbh which will put the heater on for aprox 20mins Do you have to remove the nearside inner wing to get to the wireing I belive you have to put a postive feed to pin3 of the unit to fire it up I may use a remote unit to trigger the timer or mybe a clock Has anyone done a DIY set up on one of these heates

I've been having similar thoughts - you can buy 12v remotes on eBay for peanuts. I thought if I put a switch in Pin3, it might fire it up without the engine being on?

if the engine is not running the coolant would not circulate through the engine or does the fbh have its own pump to do this:confused: i have a seperate on/off switch for the fbh as my outside temp sensor failed
