Time to sell the Freelander, I bought it for my mum about 2 years ago from its original owner with suspected IRD/VCU Issues at 90K, I replaced the VCU with a genuine GKN New unit, and a recon IRD, receipts are included with sale, these have only covered 7K in the 2 years we have had it.
My mum never really liked the car as it was auto and has now gone back to a small hatchback so it is up for sale. It has been well looked after by us and previous owner and is really nice to drive.
Good Points:
97K - Low for year
ES Leather Trim
Heated Seats
Ice cold aircon
New VCU
Recon. IRD
Power Fold Mirrors
Fuel Burning Heater
CD Autochanger
Tidy Bodywork, only a couple dings and scratches.
All tyres on 5mm (2x Michelen's and 2x Kumho's)
Spare Tyre 7mm
Last serviced 3 months ago.
Only 2 Lady owners from new.
Bull Bar
Chrome Spare Wheel Cover included (not in pics)
2 Sets of working keys and fobs.
Bad Points:
Sunroof doesn't work
Headlining is sagging in places.
Couple of small dings no bigger then 20p's (see pics)
Drivers Heated seat doesn't get to warm.
MOT is due in November, Will MOT at buyers expense if required (£35)
