Freelander 1 Tarting up the bonnet lettering

So I was going to spray up the bonnet lettering but thought it was a lot of work masking etc so I bought a paint pen instead. up close it doesn't look too good, i think I may try some airfix paint next to get a smoother coat. anyway here it is!

Mine has chrome letting on the bonnet.
It's only possible to see it's chrome by the reflections on the lettering.

I went from the Brunel Grey lettering to silver and it was a big improvement.
The grey was almost invisible, Not quite as flash as the chrome though.

I got black ones too. Then painted the middle of the bonnet black and you couldn't see them. So painted them with alloy wheel silver
