Hi Everyone,

I would like to gauge everyone's opinion on which is the best option here.

I have read lots about the synergy 2 here----> Synergy 2 from tuning-diesels.com

However i do not know much about the re-map.

Therefore could you please advise the pro's & Con's of each.

I have A Freelander 1 TD4 Freestyle on a 55 plate, which i hope to modify with one of the 2 above. Therefore which ever comes out on top i will have done.

Thanks.

Paul.....

Something to bear in mind - the additional functionality & cost savings over and above performance that the Synergy2 provides.

Have a look on here about the Bosch MAF failure rates (and symptoms - my 05 plate TD4 looks text book  ) and Bosch vs Peirburg + Synergy2. Am waiting for a 5 star torx to arrive so I can try clean the MAF but given how bad the bosch units are supposed to be, the synergy2 + Pierburg looks to be the cost effective upgrade pretty much regardless? From a cost stance that just about pays for itself and the tuning options are basically a freebie?

Just my two penneth worth!

This seems to be a very relevant argument with the td4! Remaps generally get better results if done well, but the synergy is well respected plus the bonus of the MAF. It's a tricky one!
