Speaker sizes on a 2003 Freelander

I have a 2003 Freelander that I have bought recently, i've tried installing a pair of JBL 6.5" speakers in the front but found that the original speakers have their screw holes at different lengths across around the outside, it seems two of the holes are closer together than the bottom ones.

Is there an adapater I can buy to fit these new speakers to the doors?

Just re-drill the holes and use self tapping screws
Also make sure the speakers aren't too deep otherwise they will hit the glass in the door !

also if the grills are protruding out too much you'll loose the glove boxes and dent the grills. experience! when I fitted a set of kenwoods. the glove boxes are useless anyway only enuff room for straigheners and brush, lucky to get laquer in the other one. none of which I have ever had in mine.

Took me a but of time to get the door cards off. A few hidden screws and lots of pulling on the clips. I was a bit scared of breaking and bending the door cards. Took a bit of effort to get off. Build quality is not what I would say first class on interior.

I find no more nails from the pound shop does the trick
