Slight whine when slowing down

Hi Peeps,I have a whine from the front when i take my foot of the accelerator to slow down, its only slight but its bugging me,Ive read some of the posts on this but would really like an idea of where to start looking.

So it only does it in gear then?

Does it do it in a certain gear? at a certain speed? with gentle revs? revs not chaning? revs dropping?

Any info you can give will be a bonus as Hippo says.Is your prop connected,does it happen in straight lines or only when turning?

Hi guys, the prop is connected and only whines when in gear. not in neutral say,when coming to traffic lights dropping revs foot off brake until needed that's when it does it
