Series 3 wing removal. How??

Is there a how to guide anywhere on removing front drivers wing from a series 3? Or has someone done the job before? roughly how long did it take and anything to watch out for?

Undo the mounting bolts, unhook the wiring, stand back and let it fall on the floor. half an hour if you stop for a brew halfway through. It's basic spanner work.

It all works fine as long as the captive bolts by the rad aren't rusted and the mudshield comes off without a fight - you can't easily get behind the bolts to undo them. There's also the difficult bugger somewhere behind the battery and the top bolt to the bulkhead - long socket extension for that one. A Dremel cutting wheel is a useful accessory. Put it back together with stainless bolts if you can.
