Rear OS passenger window

Hello all,

My misses freebee window (rear drivers side) is not going up or down so I just pushed it up for now. I can hear the motor turning so Im hoping its just the cable.

Ordered a new repair kit from Fleebay for £14 so my question is....

How hard is it to change, that is if it is the cable (not removed the door card yet).

had the same problem with my Disco rear window, pulled the switch out first, dismantled it and cleaned it all up and hey presto, window working

i could hear a noise in the rear door, so didnt think it was the switch at first, but was easier to give it a try before removing door cards

I can hear the motor and all the gubbings in the door moving when the switch is poerated, hence I think the cable has snapped.

Read a few posts here and some have changed the cable but say its a pain and some have just changed the whole guts from a scrappy etc.

Will have a better look Sunday.
