So, Whilst checking over the 90 ready for its MOT the other day, I was making sure all lights worked as they should.

One of the rear red light covers was showing its age, So having a spare which I got at Newbury a couple of years ago i tiwas a quick change over. Due to a fit siiue between the old bulb holder and the new lens I chnaged over the whole unit. At the time i thought it was strange that the light was still not that bright, but moved onto other things.

Today , I decided to investigate a bit further, I found the bulb was a 24V bulb. When I checked all the other spare lights I had bought at the same time, ( Indicators / rear light and side light) I found all of them fitted with 24V bulbs. A few of them were fitted to the car, makes sense now as to why I thought the lights were a bit dull.

Changed over to 12V. Well they do seem brighter. Ddi not think to check the bulbs fitted in the lights purchased at Newbury....

Cheers

LOL,

I cannot complain, I did not notice when I bought them that they had bulbs in them..........thought it was a pleasant surprise to find bulbs in them when I went to use one.

Did not think to check the voltage......:oops::oops:
