I've printed it out albeit in black and white and it doesn't have the
same effect at all.

I wonder if a printout in colour would have the same effect and if so it
could then be wrapped round an object to see if the effect still works,
just a thought.

Wonder if it's linked to the refresh rate of your paint job.... mines
currently between 15 and 40 years depending on the model

I think the colours are relevant. I've seen monochrome images that do the
same thing though.

didn't look like 'em to me... I suspect it depends whether you have your
monitor turned up too bright as well :)

It's a bit like looking at a light bulb and still seeing the bulb image
for a considerable time afterwards.
