Well I just had a fairly pleasant week in West Wales, the weather was aweful - visibility less than 100m for most of the week and patchy rain on the friday. Buuuuut had some nice meals out and nice meals in and played xbox with the missus and watched movies etc. So not bad considering.
My verdict for the Freelander's performance is much the same, no huge problems - behaved fine on trips about during the week and only that pesky temp problem with the EWP in the way there and on the way back.
However one of my headlight bulbs is about to snuff it, I'd like to fit those fancy-pants xenon ones I've seen folks here do, what are they called and will Halfrauds/Euros stock 'em?
Also it looks like my reverse switch is fecked, my reverse light dunt come on and my parking sensors remain silent - which is even worse than their usual "OMG STOP THERE'S THIN AIR RIGHT THERE YOU'RE GONNA HIT IT! STAHP!!"
So if summun could give me a part number I'll order one in once I've used the wires to check it is the switch and not something else. The problem was accompanied by a general unwillingness to go into reverse so if that's a pointer let me know

So nothing exploded and as far as I know I still have a head gasket in there somewhere.
I'm fookin tired now though, orf to bed soon.
