Hello all just stripped top of my p38 and it already had lpg fitted which hasn't worked for years just wondering if I should get a good second one or leave in it on petrol and resolder injectors back to how they should be or buy a new lpg front end kit
Just I can't make my mind up not too bothered about fuel consumption at mo but just wondering other people's input
And if I do get convinced of Lpg am looking for one if anyone knows of of a source
Thanks for any input
Nick

Depends if you have LPG available near you, and if you want to use it.

My project P38 has LPG, so I re-installed everything, but have only run it on petrol so far. Put the injectors & wiring in, so I didn't have to block the manifold ports. Local specialist said when I'm ready to get it tested, to put £10-15 in and they can do a full check. Verbal quote was about £120 which I though was reasonable. He also said get the LPG at ASDA in Wycombe as it's the cheapest & avoids ULEZ trip !! Must admit I havent bothered yet, because I rarely pass anywhere with LPG available.

Lpg mile away if I fitted would use I guess on a run
What make did you fit

It was in the car when I bought it. Prins multi-point system. Apart from re-installing after the engine rebuild, the only thing I have do is improve the coolant pipe run layouts where they tee off to the vaporiser.
