Good link, although very South African orientated.

If anyone is travelling overland to West Africa, in particular Senegal (well worth a visit), I have a useful contact of an excellent Landrover specialist mechanic; ABBAS CISS, he can also find spare parts where others can't, and all at very reasonable prices. He currently keeps my series III on the road in an admirable way.

I often find cats on my bonnet, but they're a bit smaller than that one

He's a bit bigger than our Norman and he sits on my bonnet !!!.

but if that thing wants to sit on anyone's bonnet, who is gonna argue?
