Not having much luck lately steering packed up HELP!!

This week I noticed a whining noise when I parked up when steering, so checked pas fluid, level was ok, checked later when day light noise not present. Now I went to use tonight for first time in 2days and steering very hard to move? Anyone had this issue?

Check that your power steering pump belt is ok. As a first measure

Belt is ok, think I may have a leak somewhere but struggling to locate

Found pump itself was leaking stripped and made new gasket, hope it lasts :bump2:
