Hi Everyone
I have a TD4 2001 and i need to get 4 new tyres - the old ones are cr@p and its time ot bite the bullet and get some better ones. It's used mostly for town and motorways but it about twice a month it goes 'soft-road' as i shoot so across muddy fields and through the occasional ford - plus we are in peak district every month or so and do a bit of greelaning.

So i have narrowed it down to 2 choices but happy to take suggestions...

Yokohama Geolander A/T-S 2012 Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S 215/65 R16 98H - mytyres.co.uk

or
Pirelli Scorpian STR Pirelli Scorpion STR 215/65 R16 98H RBL - mytyres.co.uk

They both seem very similar and seem to get good reviews - my preference are the Yoko's but be good to get input from someone who has either!

Thanks

Andy

I've had both. I much prefered the pirelli on the road, they were great in the snow as well. I only used them once off road and they did ok. I got the yokos just for greenlaning because they were cheaper to replace if they got damaged. I had them fitted to a set of steel wheels. I can't really fault either tyre.

I have infinity inf-200 I think these are good and at £55 a tyre good value the thing u will find with tyres is everyone likes different ones on my cars I didn't have anything other than michelins and if I didn't have so many problems with the hippo would buy for this but since I went or a money saving option I choose infinity and in the wet and dry they have been great not gone green laning yet as it is now broke with yet another ABS Sensor failing
