Decided today that i had had enough of the original landrover blue colour of the defender parked outside so set off for a quick play on some waste land near my house and returned about 3 hours later covered in ****...
turns out the ruts are actually quite deep!!!! after careful planing(my arse) i decided to attempt to cross some ruts that looked quite easy and as the the front bumper grounded and the passenger side rear left the floor i thought oh ****!! Never mind ring my Dad with his FREELANDER (never move a stuck defender but no other option) and he is at the lake district brilliant!! High lift jack it is then (landrovers own). after alot of jacking and precsion placing of stones(more luck than judgment) i managed to get it out, thank god and looking back was quite enjoyable but from this i would say always have someone with you who can pull you out or at least help cause them stones where pretty heavy on my own!!!
