Went there back in 2000 with a group of various 4x4's, organised by
Wolston 4x4 near Coventry.
We did the 24hr ferry to Santander then drove down through the centre of Spain via Madrid to Estepona, we had an overnight there and then onto Algerciras to get the ferry to Ceuta.
We spent a few weeks driving through Morocco, crossing the Atlas Mountains down through the centre to Marrakesh stopping on route at various places.
We got down to Zagora in the south and headed east across the desert to Erg Chebbi, we camped out in the desert which was amazing.
After Erg Chebbi we made our way back north heading to the ferry and home.
It was the best trip i have done and recommend any one to go and do it.
