my horn is playing up (no jokes please)

i have a military 109 and the horn only works with the engine running and not at position 2 on the key , i have checked my military wiring diagram and the horn goes through a relay which im convinced is the problem, at position 2 the charge light dims suggesting an earth fault , does anybody know where i can get a new relay (fv7067) 12v or a relay that will do the job, and can anybody tell me why it goes through a relay anyway (civi ones are direct wired)? thanks people

hello mate no mine has been converted i know it can be a bit of a nightmare depending on what sort of set up you have . basically its all of the relays , bulbs, distributer, starter motor etc if its just bulbs and stuff your finding hard to get hold of a lot of lorry spares suppliers do all that kind of stuff
