my wifes Freelander td4 2005, facelift version has an annoying metalic banging noise appearsto be left rear corner. i have replaced the bump stops on diff, converted to 2wd for now, it went in for its MOT 2 days ago and passed with flying colours.
i have renewed all the rubber exhaust hangers, the garage checked all the bushes, shocks ect , all passed,nothing loose, ive even secured the dog partition, checked rear seats to make sure locating correctly, there are no scrape or marks anywhere.
the garage even checked the rear chasis bolts, all ok
even bounced on rear step, no noise, as its not all time, been on bumpy roads nothing, go on straight road it starts, just had about enough now, help anyone
