Hi guys, just filled the tank up after 11 yers idle and it is leaking from the bottom seam.

Has anyone had any success with the various tank sealers or would it be better to have it re-brazed or replaced..It is not rusty at all so this is not the issue.

any advice much apreciated

I wish I filled my tank every 11 years.

On a serious note though if the tank isnt rusty then maybe its leaking either at the seams as you say but it might be worth making sure as it might be the sender unit gasket.
You can check the sender user gasket and replace it yerself easy enough, but if a seams leaking then a replacement may be on the cards, you used to be able to get them repaired, but these days less and less want to do stuff like that.

There are some good sealer products out there.

Can't remember the name of it, but there was some red gunk I had a student use last year to seal a kevlar fuel tank. Did a good job and was compatible with aluminium and epoxy prepreg. Search the 'net and you'll find something.
