l swapped my van for a Defender 110 SW as l was tired of losing £10,000 every few years on vans.
So, l bought a Defender back in 2014 and it's been a great vehicle. However as a limited company l made the mistake of not buying the commercial version, so l've had to register it as a private car and charge the business for mileage.
Now though, we are getting the Clean Air Act which will charge non-compliant vehicles a daily rate to enter Manchester
And l live within the scheme's proposed boundary.
FORTUNATELY l didn't buy the commercial version of the Defender 110, as private cars are exempt from the scheme.
About time l got some (potential) good news.
Being a LTD company l got no govt help during lockdown where my friends who are "sole traders" have had £10-25,000
l only became LTD after a govt small business incentive back in 2002 where they offered a tax break for three years.
