Is this a SIIa ?? And How bad is it??

The landrover will probably weight about 1300KG, so I fear it will overload your trailer. It would also have to be some pretty serious MPV to shift that much weight. The roof and canvas etc don't make much difference to the weight, less than 50KG all in I would say.

It's a Lancia Phedra (rebranded Peugeot 807 / Citroen C8), and the trailer has brakes. The route (100 miles both ways) is prety plain.

I was wondering if I could take some weight down from the SIII... I would only try if I could go at least as low as 1100kgs or so (the axle is rated for 1300 kgs) starting from the official 1350 kgs (don't know if with or without fuel / coolant / ...)

Regards!

Only thing thats going to make the sort of weight loss you need is removing the engine, which will make it lots more fun to load up.
Which then means another trip.
Would it not be better to pay somone to go and get it?
