Hi everyone

I'm looking for some help with my freelander I'm not mechanically minded but I can do the basics haha I bought a my freelander 6 months ago and was told it needed new bearings for the propshaft as its jumping about when changing gear I took it off until I could get the new parts and when I went to drive off ( front wheels only ) it didn't move so I put the shaft back on and it drove I then took it to a garage to put on ramp and from what I can see the gearbox casing is smashed and looks like the internals have been took out and made to only run rear wheel drive so now it looks new bearings and gearbox now I've seen loads of gearboxes forsale but which one do I need it's the 2.0 di engine any info would be great as I need it fix as cheap as possible or I will have to sell and buy something else cheers for reading hope you can help :) .liam

Sorry yes I guess it's the front diff then as it drives the rear spot on and goes through the gears smooth
