Hi,
I owned my first ever landrover Defender when about 8 years old, a Britain's White 90... that I then lost on the Bakerloo line in London....
Fast forward 35 years and I am now the proud custodian of a White 1990 Defender 110 300 TDi (now known as the 'Refender' as my kids are too young to pronounce it properly). In the last 6 months I have learned many lessons, including how to break down, how to use and angle grinder and how to use the Landrover toolbox videos to avoid 'most' disasters....
This is a working car and a project - I use it to tow, carry canoes - and is the most fun vehicle I have ever had - I have sooo many questions and about 40 projects identified. My neighbour has already offered to teach me welding techniques, my brother in law (a mechanic) has had many laughs at my expense...
looking forward to helping with things I have done/fixed and can offer any assistance - and as a novice picking the brains of any enthusiast willing to listen....
