Have new ATV and need advice 110506

Can drive it all over our farm and ranch....but..
what are typical restrictions for driving on state or USA Hwys ? Some
special drivers' license or something ? Each state different ?

To drive it on a public road, it needs to have a license
plate, and you need to have a driver's license.
To drive it on public lands, it must have a current
registration as an OHV.
You don't need anything to drive it on your own land in most
states. But I bet Calif even restricts that.
