Green Lane Virgin

Hi all

Want to get out today and do some green lanes around the Derbyshire Dales area. Got myself a OS map and have highlighted a number of green lanes i'd like to tackle. As this is my first trip out i'd welcome any tips and tricks or do's and don'ts from you guys.

Don't go by yourself.

You'll be ok doing the Bonsall Moor run that I gave you the grid refs for on yer own chap.
Don't try the other one alone chap !!!!!!!.

Thanks for the advice on NOT going alone. The problem is that I only received your messages on my return.

Had a great day and we really enjoyed ourselves. Almost got stuck in a deep muddy rut on Roystone Grange and the wife refused to be a passanger going down a rocky section into Monsall Dale.

Now looking forward to the next adventure. Have gained some local knowldege of the Derbyshire Dales and Bakewell / Monsall area if anyone needs some info.
