Dear Forum members,
I have recently purchased a Freelander 2.0 TD4 HSE which currently seems to be all ok with the exception of a noise which comes from the Front window wipers when they are operated which is driving me crazy
I've changed the wiper blades however the noise is still there when they "wipe"
Can anyone advise what it may be and how to resolve the noise issue please?

I dunno mate, but go over to the the introduce yourself bit and post in there first, it's considered good manners on here :)

Then run a search, you may turn up summat, if you don't you can at least rule out a few areas that you currently haven't even thought about.

I think the annoying noise you hear when the wipers clear the rain from the windscreen is the noise made by the wipers when they clear the rain from the windscreen. To avoid this you could limit your (feeble) driving to sunny days or turn the stereo up to 11.

hi try a bit of grease on the joints take your wipper arms of then undo scuttle pannel and pull each joint upwards and then just put a blob of grease on the joint they are like a ball joint and can run dry now you are going to ask how to get the scrivet pins out that hold the scuttle down well get a very small screw driver and put it into the middle of the scrivet pin and just tap lightly then unscrew the middle bit and they should come out hope this helps
